Hyperion’s Principal and CEO Robert Vecsler has for the last six years served as President, Residential Development, Head of Acquisitions and member of the Investment Committee at Silverstein Properties in New York. At Silverstein, Rob oversaw over $4 billion in investments and development. Since resuming his leadership of Hyperion with Silverstein Properties as an investor, the firm is active in developing residential projects in South Florida and pursuing additional opportunities from its New York and Miami offices.
Hyperion pursues residential and mixed -use development in select markets exhibiting strong demand drivers, demographic trends, and pro-growth indicators. The firm adds value through deep understanding of the local market, public-private partnerships to enable rezoning and tax incentives, and a disciplined investment approach through rigorous, institutional level underwriting, due diligence and execution. The firm has developed a proprietary residence management platform and draws on this experience to integrate service and lifestyle as a differentiator at its properties.
With deep experience in luxury high-rise condominiums, hotels and master-planned communities, as well as experience in mid and low-rise multi-family development, the firm has the capability to execute on any scale of project or use that is appropriate for the market and economic cycle.
Given the firm’s target markets and desired product type, the firm is active within designated Opportunity Zones. Drawing on its experience the firm is establishing itself as an Opportunity Zone Fund through which it will invest in developments and TCO-ready projects within Opportunity Zones.

The firm opportunistically pursues acquisition and re-positioning of existing cash flowing assets in select markets.

Hyperion is experienced in the acquisition, re-position and sale of special situation real estate assets through debt and the underlying assets. The firm has the capability to execute in this space.
